No internet, no air conditioning

In the hotel, the Internet speed is not even enough to load the browser start window. The air conditioning in the entire building doesn't work, and inside you turn into an overcooked dumpling. Contact with the hotel was terrible, they refused to write that they did not provide the conditions stated on the website. I don't recommend it, especially not for a business trip.

Disappointed

Our experience at Hotel Zone was a rollercoaster of highs and lows, with several notable issues overshadowing the positive aspects of our stay. Despite being advertised as a four-star establishment, the reality fell short in various areas, leaving us feeling disappointed and frustrated. From the outset, the lack of a shuttle service ( which had stopped after COVID according to the receptionist) and the 10-minute walk to the local train station, contrary to what was advertised, posed significant inconveniences. Additionally, the absence of a map of Rome or information on train services upon arrival only added to the difficulties of navigating the city. Once settled into our room, further disappointments awaited. The dusty room and broken toilet, which emitted a constant running noise throughout the night despite our requests for repair, detracted significantly from our comfort and relaxation. The revelation that our initially assigned ground-floor room was subject to noise disturbances in the mornings and evenings further compounded our dissatisfaction. Communication breakdowns with hotel staff exacerbated our frustrations. Attempts to contact reception from our room inadvertently connected us to another guest, highlighting a glaring issue with the phone system that remained unresolved until after our departure. Despite repeated requests for assistance, the phone issue persisted, indicative of a lack of attention to basic maintenance. In the face of these challenges, there were some silver linings. The willingness of staff to assist with booking taxis, albeit at a considerable cost, was appreciated. Additionally, on our last day, a receptionist went above and beyond to help us print our boarding passes, albeit after them providing an incorrect email address initially. Overall, while Hotel Zone had moments of helpfulness and willingness to assist, it ultimately failed to meet the standards expected of a four-star establishment. From the lack of advertised amenities to communication breakdowns and maintenance issues, our stay was marred by disappointments. Proceed with caution if considering this hotel, and be prepared to encounter inconsistencies and challenges throughout your stay.

This is not a 4* hotel and definitely not worth the price. Lacking necessary basics, run down rooms, terrible beds, constant noise from the staff even at 3am. AWFUL customer service - bug infested bathroom met with a shrug from the reception staff who did nothing to help and frankly didn’t care. Breakfast extremely basic. Nothing of quality at all from the decor, the staff and the quality. Awful stay, avoid avoid avoid.

Nice on the outside, awful on the inside

Firstly the hotel is a trek to get to. Multiple buses and trains plus a 15 min walk. Once arrived, the exterior looked impressive so had high hopes. Staff were lovely at check in and room was easy to find. The room itself was shabby and didn't include basics such as a kettle, iron or even a welcome pack as you would expect for a 4 star. TV was useless and bed was hard, dirty and very noisy. We wanted a nap after a long day of travels but the noise is unbelievable. You can hear every footstep, every lightswitch being used and every chair being scrapped along the floor. We had the joy of a child above us who screamed past midnight and woke us up at 6am EVERY night. Night 3 we put a noise complaint in but nothing came of it. You can hear people's conversations next door if you have the window open and everything the person does above like dropping a fork multiple times which happened alot?! The noise of chairs being dragged out was violent and woke you up alot. Also anything electrical made a noise, even the lights which made a loud tapping noise even when off. Breakfast was OK but they got the order wrong everyday and avoid any cooked food as it was awful. Dinner though was nice but basic. Staff friendly. Avoid if you want a peaceful night's sleep and if you want a full day in Rome as multiple times the buses didn't arrive or were delayed by over an hour then traveling for 40mins to get to the city center ate into the day. Tips for the hotel: change the chairs from four legs to slide out ones or get some rugs! Welcome pack in the room would be nice as found no maps anywhere or basic info on the hotel. Place families on the lower floors not above people as screaming kids are not fun.
